Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of doing intricate lace work - it annoys me - so I figured I'd look for something I do like the look of, and I can use some cotton thread I have. But, to get the right gauge, I used a larger hook than I usually would for the cotton thread, and used a plain of white and a pastel variegated thread together.
